Title: Filth In The Home
Post by: Clive on January 15, 2007, 01:24:55 PM
No, I don't mean spaceage's pröñ stash, Aske's Goth-pröñ stash, or even Uisce's dwarf-pröñ stash.  I'm talking about microbes.

I was one of 10-12 volunteers who swabbed various aspects of our laundry machines for microbial testing.  Good gracious, but my washing machine is a vile repository of bacteria and yeast!  There are some parts there that I wouldn't touch with-- well, you get the idea.

So, what's this "hygiene" thing I hear the kids talking about?

I'm looking forward to MP's input on the subject.  A guy who spends the entire morning vacuuming surely understands filth better than most.

I find it's better and safer just to keep wearing the same underpants, to avoid just the hazardous situation you describe.

I'm just off to tell my wife I was right.

Yes, but ignoring what's in the pron, let's not even discuss what's on it. And no, I don't know how that sock found its way between the couch cushions.

"....I myself have three pairs of knickers....that have been washed twice.... it's only the stubborn understains holding them together...."

"...socks aren't vegetables man, they should be wiped out!...."

Don't ask me, I'm married.  The Laundry Fairy keeps making clean clothes appear in my closet, and I don't care about that white machine in the other room.

Maybe I should ask my wife to get a part-time job to pay for a maid to clean things properly?

No filth here.  House is only 4 months old.

As for the other filth....let's see... A Midsummer Night's Cream, Bridget Jones' Hairy, Das Booty, Pump Friction, Rear and Pleasant Danger....

I think they just have healthy appetites.

It's probably no mistake that featured nursery ryhmes on their site include Humpty Dumpty, Hey Diddle diddle and Ride a Cock-Horse...
