This episode of Real Time left me impressed. With our without them we'll still be driving. But not necessarily vehicles that use oil-based fuels. The oil companies want to maintain the status quo as long as possible, and as long as the Big 3 remain viable concerns, they'll do just that. Title: Re: [Politics/Religion] Dude! But I'd like to believe that with the proper leadership in the White House, and a properly motivated public, it's not too late for us to take a leading role in the development and promotion of green(er) vehicles both here and abroad. If so, then our auto industry can't be allowed to die. It would be like waving the white flag of surrender.
