History/info of distilled spirits. They started with rum, and then moved through all the big ones. Whiskey, scotch, gin, vodka, tequila. I learned a lot. Why bourbon is bourbon, Tennessee vs. Kentucky, sour mash, single malt/blended scotch etc. They featured Maker's Mark and Knob creek. I had no idea about the tequila, and the "blue" agave. (I knew it came from that plant, but thats it.) In between each segment, they had a bartender mixing each drink. Good stuff Maynard. Title: Re: I watched booze on Modern Marvels.
