This is the full and complete list of players I currently have.  Each of you has just received a PM, asking you to confirm participation (and I wouldn't mind a current handicap out of you).  You have until end of my day this Saturday to reply, else you shall be banninated from said Cup.  If anyone reads this, wants to play our little reindeer games, and finds his/her name NOT on the list -- PM me at once, I say.

I found my card, from about a year and a half ago.(last, I was active)  My lowest was 12.3.

If it makes the math for the competition easier, I will play off an even 12.

Checking in. Don't think HC will be any less. I plan to play on a couple of relatively tough courses. I don't play terribly different on some tougher courses than easier ones. Usually it is some stupid shots that blow my scorecard up.

Dystopia is out, largely because he doesn't play golf.  And also because it turns out he's actually two members here, but only one person in real-life.  Sneaky little bastard.

That's what I have been doing.  That's just proof of what I've been trying to tell you all - that even my drives don't go very far.  Actually, I'm looking forward to the year ahead.  Last years previous best for the front 9 of Phalen (my home course) was an 84.  Yes, that's just the front 9.  However, this year - and I've only been out twice - my best is a 71. Even the first time out it was a 79.  Haven't played the back 9 yet, but my best on that is a 67 (same round as the 84!).  It's been a very good year so far. 8)  (Now hopefully, the scores will continue to drop.)

Even if you hit 150 yds and you hit it straight you can shoot in the 90s. Even less distance you can shoot in the 100s and 110s. Keep at it, you'll get better.

Eagle, how long is your average driver? And, what kind of driver do you use?

Thanks for the encouragement.  Just getting out to the course more would help, I'm sure.  I'm hoping that I'll consistently be down in the 120s by the end of the year (which if I drop as many strokes on the back 9 as I did on the front 9 and don't gain some of them back, it's quite possible).

I received a new clubs for Christmas, so the driver is a 12º, 430cc Ram Concept + (Oversize).  I've only had taken it out to the course twice - and once to a golf dome.  Right now it's somewhere between 140 and 190.
