Stuffing, pumpkin pie. Potatoes and actual turkey come a close second.

Snack??? The only form of potatoes that count as snack are maybe chips ;)

Sorry, a bit of a carry-over from FGI.  I happened to post that I liked to eat mashed potatoes as a snack, and well, it turned into a court hearing. lol

Feta cheese and pomogranites are really good in a salad. Yum!

i like  pomegranate juice, but never actually tried the seeds in a salad. I usually make a salad with spring mix, apple chips, feta, pine nuts, dried chives and honey mustard vinaigrette or raspberry vinaigrette. Fab! I might have to resort to it during the weekend and meatify it with turkey leftovers.

Usually I like to make an obscene sandwich out of pretty much everything: stuffing, cranberry sauce, turkey, gravy, etc. and heat it up and eat with a fork. Today I had a roll and a little bit of stuffing. Made me feel queasy.  :sad3:

6 pies among 2 people, hmm, let's see, that's about 10,000 calories per person.  Good thing Thanksgiving comes only once a year!  (Good thing for me too, actually.   [sm_shock])

It takes a good deal of restraint not to finish a whole pie in one sitting.  And I kinda need those calories...

Wow. I suppose your recipe for Rum and Coke is equally simplistic?

dressing/stuffing
cranberry sauce
pumpkin pie (if any makes it to "leftover status")

Yeah, why do we never have any leftover pumpkin pie?  [sm_dontknow]  ;D

You know, I'm not too sure? ;)

You obviously need to make bigger pies.    ;D

We normally make about 6 at a time, and they are gone in a few hours.  ;D
    :o :o

What's so shocking? ;) I love pumpkin pies. ;D

Correction: WE  ;D

6 pies among 2 people, hmm, let's see, that's about 10,000 calories per person.  Good thing Thanksgiving comes only once a year!  (Good thing for me too, actually.   [sm_shock])

It takes a good deal of restraint not to finish a whole pie in one sitting.  And I kinda need those calories...
i just want to see what 10 propagated quote boxes look like.
How about 11?

12?
This thread is going nowhere.

Well, it was going somewhere.  So we could get it back on track again.
We could, but Thanksgiving was so long ago, there aren't any leftovers left at my place.
That doesn't mean that you can't have pie!
Any time is a good time for pie.

Which is why I just made 3 more pumpkin pies and one coconut cream pie.  ;D

I love coconut cream pie, and I demand a recipe!

Sorry, I cheated.  No recipe.  All I did was take an organic box-mix, followed stovetop directions, and filled crust.

But I do have a favorite crust recipe:
2 c. unbleached flour (white or whole wheat or pastry, any will do just fine)
1/4 c. oil
6-7 tbsp. water (generally I use 7)

It's very light and flaky.
