Title: Smiley Personification.
Post by: stroh on December 23, 2006, 09:06:00 PM
I can't think of a smiley, that completely sums up my personification of Aske any better than this.
 [sm_thankyou]
I dunno if it's just me, but, for as longs I've known him, and as much as I know him every time I see this, all I can think is Aske.  ;D

Torpedo:  :D

[edit: Full disclaimer, stegerman and I get along just fine. One of these next days, when Laura drags me up to Boise to visit the SIL, I'm going to make him hook up with me for 18.]

Actually, that was just a joke because I just saw that he's our newest member here.

But I just realized that it could be interpreted as I think he's an overbearing moderator which isn't the case at all, I think he's doing a great job at a thankless task.

So, the smiley that personifies me because I'm always doing stupid things trying to be funny that get misinterpreted on here would be this one:

And I'll be coming out with a new book available this fall:

Not at all.  i knew exactly where you were coming from/where you were going with it.

My responses are usually to cryptic, or esoteric ('credit spacey').

And yes, Persimmon has stepped up, and done the job that needed to be done.  He has taken a lot of heat.  I believe the fact that he is he should/will insulate him.

I missed him signing up here.

If you think I'm going to post so that any one of the Avogado's number of moderators here can go in and edit my post to make it look like I said how much I love wearing women's panties -- the satiny ones, not the stretch lace or especially the bland all-cotton ones -- you are very sadly mistaken.

So is the part where I say why I left FGI?  Or would the threadjack lead to a violent moderating, perhaps with a tire iron?  I have put my affairs in order, so don't trifle yourselves about that.

Screw it -- I'm willing to risk it.  (Besides, I've seen JDerion and he swings like a girl.)  Unfortunately, I dont' have time to do justice to the topic right now, and I'm afraid I'll be on the road and therefore out of pocket tomorrow as well.

Merry Christmas to one and all!  (http://www.freegolfinfo.com/forums/upfiles/smiley/usa.gif)

No deposition necessary.
I can guarantee no injunction on the refrain of brutal moderation, at the hands of the local Jihadists, however.

Merry Christmas to you.

I hope, for your sake, you are not without a TMX.

Dude, I am ROCKING the TMX.  We got it for my kid, but I hacked it and totally reprogrammed what he says.  The kid's too young to understand any of that *feces*, but when he opens it Christmas morning in front of my wife, her parents, and her grandparents ... I may well blag the bookies, if you know what I'm sayin'.

Obviously.  There are only something like 12,500 posts here.  (Well, "truth be told", I did skip the play-by-play threads.  I TiVo'ed the games and you know how I hate a spoiler.)

I say you're a pioneer.  You kinda provide "brail" for spaceage.

I found a slightly different one for stroh and spaceage but it didn't say which was which.

I'm thinking spacey is the one on the right though (depending which way you are looking)

Are you saying stroh can better hold his booze than I? I guess that's probably fair. He is, after all, drunk 24/7. He's probably built up quite a tolerance.

Well, to CMA I did say it depended which way you were looking...

However, your explanation does fit.

And he lives where there is beer.
