Title: Goin' Out. Post by: stroh on October 14, 2007, 01:38:30 PM After a true ass whoopin' handed out by the Queens to the hapless Bears, it's time for some fall golf.
The neighbor [although just moved away, but coming back to play] is coming out for some gaff! He's a true noob. 1 18 hole round under his belt. I've helped him a little at the range, and hitting some shots out of the back yard. Should be interesting. They closed the course. Said it was too cold today, and sent all the staff home. This place really pisses me off. Whatever. The girl inside said "Well, I suppose you could walk out and play if you want." So we did. (not expecting to walk. I had my staff bag, and was playing with a guy who has teed it up once in his life. Not the ideal Izzo strap, granola eating, eco friendly sandal shoe, 80 degree shorts wearin', self righteous, love of the game, pace of play bull*feces*, type walking situation.) Played 6 holes. Thankfully no "real" rain just drizzled a bit for 20 minutes. Other than that it wasn't all bad. I'll do cold but I won't do cold and rain. Not too many folks on the course though.
