Here's What You Need to Use Windows XP Professional
• PC with 300 megahertz or higher processor clock speed recommended; 233 MHz minimum required (single or dual processor system);* Intel Pentium/Celeron family, or AMD K6/Athlon/Duron family, or compatible processor recommended

• 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher recommended (64 MB minimum supported; may limit performance and some features)

• 1.5 gigabytes (GB) of available hard disk space*

• Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor

• CD-ROM or DVD drive

• Keyboard and Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device

I'm going to go with 'maybe' and 'probably not'

 :)

That thing was probably between 1500 and 2k bucks not so long ago.

My first computer had 64k system ram and no hard disk. You had to boot from a floppy.

Luxury!

My first (after Atari) had 1k of ram and you had to program it.  Cardboard box.

My second (1982) had 16k (upgraded to a fuggin whoppin 48k) and could load stuff by audio tape baby.  Warm gravel.

Before that we had punch cards.  Uphill, both ways.

Yes, I have a TARDIS.  Hole in the road.

Tell that to kids these days and they won't believe you.

What were you searching for when you found this? ;)

The sad thing is that there is a bid on it.

You lucky bastard! We had to fill a room with servers the size of refrigerators in order to have enough memory to program a simple dot-matrix printer driver. Even then, we had nothing to print because it would take another warehouse full of 19mm tape drives just to run a word processing program to type up a simple letter.
