Pitt @ WVU Oklahoma / Missouri if you think either or both will lose, post who the National Title game will be in your estimation Title: Re: NCAAF Say 12/1/2007 EVENING [SPOILERS] Post by: Aske on December 01, 2007, 04:29:52 PM i think WVU wins, and Missouri loses
WVU 8) - OSU [sm_disgust] National Title Game. WVU in a romp. Title: Re: NCAAF Say 12/1/2007 EVENING [SPOILERS] Post by: Teed on December 01, 2007, 05:12:49 PM Mizzou
Title: Re: NCAAF Say 12/1/2007 EVENING [SPOILERS] Post by: gleek on December 01, 2007, 08:08:34 PM Unless the Tigers can turn things around in a big hurry, it looks like the top 3 teams in the rankings after this week will be those that avoided playing in a conference championship game. How lame is that?

What a surprise. ::) So if that really was the "best team" on Dec 1st and we beat the *feces* out of them twice does that make us the best team? Seriously the BCS is stupid but we lost two games we shouldn't have. I don't think any team deserves a national championship this year. A 4 or 8 team playoff would be fun though. Title: Re: NCAAF Say 12/1/2007 EVENING [SPOILERS] Post by: Aske on December 01, 2007, 11:05:25 PM wow, the #2 curse continued as west virginia looked the worst i've ever seen, and pitt actually looked like a team that had some modicum of talent and not just a bunch of walk ons.
that said, #3 osu and #4 georgia moving up to #1,#2 is ridiculous, especially as georgia didn't even win the SEC [sm_scratch] meanwhile, undefeated hawaii sits there looking in on a national title game where a 1 loss and a 2 loss team are playing. [sm_disgust] (no, i don't think hawaii would beat either one this year, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve a shot. ) Title: Re: NCAAF Say 12/1/2007 EVENING [SPOILERS] Post by: Aske on December 02, 2007, 08:41:01 AM What a mess [sm_devil]
Title: Re: NCAAF Say 12/1/2007 EVENING [SPOILERS] Post by: gleek on December 02, 2007, 09:03:00 AM Man, Hawaii sacked up and won after being 21 down. That deserves some recognition. I hope they get a big jump in the rankings.
Title: Re: NCAAF Say 12/1/2007 EVENING [SPOILERS] Post by: Aske on December 02, 2007, 12:19:19 PM yup, i stayed up to watch that. colt b is the real deal and should take the heisman.
anyways, the real stink is that the human pollsters 'corrected' last weeks poll and leapfrogged lsu (5 and 7 in last weeks, now to 2 in both this week after a very mediocre sloppy win over an average tennessee team) over georgia (idle, 4, and still 4 ).... just to avoid the whole 'how is the sec conference champion not in the title game while an sec #3 is ?' oklamhoma also leapfrogged over georgia. if being idle is such a bad thing, then why didn't lsu and oklahoma leapfrog right over ohio state too ? Title: Re: NCAAF Say 12/1/2007 EVENING [SPOILERS] Post by: Aske on December 02, 2007, 12:20:13 PM i hope the title game is a sloppy boring 10-7 game and hawaii wins their game by 35. then we can have some split titles.
Title: Re: NCAAF Say 12/1/2007 EVENING [SPOILERS] Post by: Walfredo on December 03, 2007, 09:24:34 AM I know I smoke a lot of drugs and stuff but didn't LSU lose at home to Arkansas a little over a week ago. ::) I thought those kind of end of the season losses hurt you. Oh well. Let them give 16,000 seats to OSU then play a home game for the National Title as usual, while they spit and throw beer on the opposing fans.

Oh well. Let them give 16,000 seats to OSU then play a home game for the National Title as usual, while they spit and throw beer on the opposing fans. That's one of the biggest crocks of *feces* I've ever seen. LSU should have dropped below all sorts of teams with that loss. Instead, they went from 1 to 7 right back to 2. And for what? Beating a sorry-ass Tennessee team that got destroyed by Cal and Alabama? Title: Re: NCAAF Say 12/1/2007 EVENING [SPOILERS] Post by: stroh on December 03, 2007, 10:01:12 AM fart.noises.armpit
