3Ii8m1jgn_M I was a big fan of this band, even if I don't really like what the genre became. I pretty much wore out the grooves in the Socialisteuropian 12" single version I bought in Italy in 1981. That it is now considered so ubiquitous as to be background music for the American fast food industry is a tad disheartening on the surface. OTOH, maybe the underlying current of lost dreams and desolation is PERFECT for the American fast food industry and postmodern America in general.
