This dude has been in the news before. The mayor told the liquor board: no bar. The Mount Vernon City Council voted unanimously in support of the bar, but it is what the mayor says that counts. It's the second time he's vetoed a Mexican bar at the site. "I think that's just a coincidence that both of them happened to be Mexican bars," said Norris. What an an AMAZING COINCIDENCE! Then he says: "We are getting a concentration of businesses downtown that are basically alcohol-oriented, and I'd like to see a little variety," Norris said. That word 'Variety', I do not think you know what it means! |
