The warnings on cigarette packs in many parts of the world are much more strongly worded than anything we will ever see here. I lived in the Middle East for 3 years in the mid 90's and some of the warnings on cigarette packs were funny and very blunt. "If you keep smoking, you will die." Not mentioned was the fact that if you don't smoke at all you will die too, but that's beside the point. They were also printed in multiple locations on the packs and in a pretty large font relative to the size of the pack.

Post by: twoiron on April 29, 2010, 03:41:08 PM When cigaratte packs were launched here with those types of images.. 10 years ago from memory, they were initially confronting, but then as people were buying their smokes they could feel less guilty if they chose the pack with the less confronting image.
