Title: Knives
Post by: hobbit on December 04, 2007, 02:37:43 PM
Since I know there are a few culinary gurus here - what was the consensus on good kitchen knives?  I'm too lazy to lookup the old threads.

A co-worker suggested Furi.

I'm 100% behind the calphalon katana series.  in fact, i'm about to order $200 more of them.

I bought Karen 1 good kitchen knife.  Don't remember the brand off hand.  May be Calphalon.

Aargh, the Mrs. and I never did the knife-shopping that I mentioned in that other thread.  Priorities changed and new knives are now way down on the list.  :sad3:

Look directly below here, a few more inches.  You may have to grab that slide bar dealie on the right and pull it all the way down.

The only 'slide bar thingie' I have is the 'Jump to' slidebar. There isn't any related posts tab, there. :'(

Thanks.

No, keep looking below that.  You're almost there.

The slide dealie, that moves the entire page up and down.  like you want to look back up at other posts, or all the way to the last one.  If you have a mouse with one of those wheels, whip 'er all the way to the bottom, 'til it stops.

[sm_thumbsup]  I often forget they are there, but some of them can be pretty damn funny.  :D

I hate when I walk into the middle of a conversation.
