Title: Pet Poll
Post by: Uisce Beatha on October 05, 2007, 03:33:40 PM
My answer is provided in the form of one of the best lyrics ever written:

"All right, you can get a cat, just as long as it barks."

Having said that, I live with a cat and two sugar gliders.   :sad3:

I had no idea what the hell a sugar glider was, so I had to look it up. Those things sure look like flying squirrels.

They smell; they're noisy at night; they throw food outside the cage; they're expensive to buy; they're expensive to care for; they're hard to keep alive.

Other than that they're the best.

Can Mr. Cat whose house I live in come visit? He'd probably really enjoy those as a snack.

Our cat feigns indifference but I'm on to the little *fudge*er.  The first time we leave the boys out loose in the house they're Tender Vittles.

The more 'indifferent' a cat is to something, the more likely it is to come up missing, mutilated, or dead at some point in the future.

And Mr. Cat around here is no 'Little Fudger', he's frickin' HUGE.

I used to know a girl who bred sugar gliders. She also had a pet raccoon. Crazy bitch. I've always had a dog, probably always will.

She also had a pet raccoon.

We have pet raccoons.  The little ones are outside looking at it right now.  They eats in our neighbor's yard, gets plenty of water at the pond at the bottom of our street, and plays/sits/sleeps in our yard.

Yeah, that.  :D

Anyway, I need to go pick some apples.  I'll probably wait 'til Dad's home though 'cause I don't know where the net is.

Always been a dog guy, but I'm not home enough to have one right now - poor thing would get the shining from all that time alone.  I don't want to see a dog with the shining  ;)

We've two Jack Russell Terriers.  One is 14+  years, just sleeps alot these days.  The younger one is 9+.  Still kills rabbits, squirrels, chippmunks, voles, birds, cats, and will attempt 'possums and 'coons.

I'm guessing we're not replacing these when their gone.
