Our late night may be Coleman-Franken for Senate. And while not in the district I will be watching Tinklenberg-Bachman closely.

On your advice, MFAWG, I just switched to FAUX, and they are showing previews of a Hitler movie with Tom Cruise wearing a swastika, which can't be a good thing.

jesus christ!  what do the people who watch FAUX do with their private parts when the lights are off??!?!

Oh hold it, Rove is back.  He just said something like  "We're in trouble-but I can't really count on the spot."

Brit: "We just lost Ohio"

Rove: "Don't worry.  We're fine as long as McCain wins California!"

You should have seen his campaign ads.  He's a *fudge*tard.  And Rice was a good candidate too, probably just too young for widespread appeal.

I was thinking about watching the FAUX crew conduct their wake and console each other, but its making me dizzy.  They have Kristol, Palin's Dr. Frankenstein, the most hated character in history.

PBS is as usual, laid back and quiet. Ifill is managing not to gloat TOO much, and Brooks has a kind of bemused look on his face.

Love Rachel, everything else, meh. Even Rachel is a little too earnest on her TV show. Her radio show was way funnier, and she didn't seem to be trying so hard to be 'Smart and Funny'. Still, she's the best thing on TV.

Matthews is starting to prattle on and on. He's the political equivalent of a jocksniffer a'la Bryant Gumbel.

I think they'll call Florida and Indiana AFTER 11:00 pm, because that's when the left coast polls close.

Possibly Virginia and NC as well, but it looks like they'll split.

Karl Rove just got all 'PostRacial'Merka. It was pretty disgusting, honestly. He did get one thing right:

If you're under 25, maybe 30, race just isn't really an issue.

Good job, America!

Say what you will but this is a very good speech.

I'm still convinced he let the far right hijack his campaign and he's a better man than what has been shown the past month or two.

Yes.  The operative phrase is "He let"

But he was also auditioning for the job, and his poor choices are what did him in.  He failed the test.

When he wasn't forced to spew the Rovian rhetoric, he seems much more genuine and likeable. I thought he was really funny at the Alfred E. Smith dinner and on SNL last weekend.

Absolutely agree. His "choice" of Palin was mind-boggling to me and his sound bite on the economy last month was mortal. But I absolutely believe he is a good man.

A new chapter is being written. I can look at my daughters tomorrow and tell them they can be anything they want to be and I can be more truthful than ever.

I think I heard someone say this is man landing on moon stuff. And it's hard not to agree.

But I'll be frank.  I'm not black.  So my own dominant emotion is a bit on the pedestrian side of the scale (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McHyLKw5mHc).
