Title: Thunderbird sorting Post by: Uisce Beatha on April 23, 2008, 11:58:51 AM Love the Thunderbird. Been on it for a year and a half or so now. Wouldn't leave it.
But... If I sort by Subject or Sender I can't get back to sorting by Date. Or at least not easily. I click the header and/or I use the Sort menu and it resorts but if I leave that folder/box and come back it's stuck on Subject or Sender again. By some magic after a day or two of this it'll stick. Anyone? Title: Re: Thunderbird sorting Post by: Dunk on April 23, 2008, 12:12:33 PM I can't help you, but I just thought I'd leave you this:

If I think about it I'll look, but I suspect there's nothing I can or would try that you haven't already.

I'm hoping one of the Twins has seen something about it on one of their tech support boards. Title: Re: Thunderbird sorting Post by: Torpedo on April 23, 2008, 07:50:32 PM Just tested it, and it all works here for me.
Title: Re: Thunderbird sorting Post by: Torpedo on April 23, 2008, 07:51:59 PM I have never even heard of Thunderbird. Thunderbird (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/) is a replacement mail program to Outlook/Outlook express made by the same people that make Firefox. 8) Title: Re: Thunderbird sorting Post by: E-A-G-L-E! on April 23, 2008, 09:26:31 PM I use T-Bird at home, but I don't think I've ever bothered to change the way messages are sorted. I briefly searched TechGuy (http://www.techguy.org/) and also the Mozilla support, but I didn't find any results with similar issues. I really don't know. [sm_dunno] P.S. If you do figure it out, will you let us know? :D Title: Re: Thunderbird sorting Post by: spacey on April 23, 2008, 09:53:50 PM |
