It's FOOTBALL, not golf. It's supposed to be played on patchy, wintering NE grass.

Field Turf is a 100x improvement over 'astroturf', but is still NOT what sports should be played on given a choice.  Grass is it baby!

exactly.  people outside pittsburgh don't understand what this field goes through  .    combine weather, and 3-4 events a week  during peak season.   grass just doesnt make it when the annual pittsburgh monsoons come in
