Title: Old putters Post by: Spanky on January 16, 2008, 12:42:39 PM I just got an old Ping Pal 4 and it putts as well as any new putter I have tried in the store.

1. A oldie Ping Pal 2 (then later I bought the newer version Pal 2) Had some moment with it but that didn't last long 2. Bulleye style putter made by PGF. Usually I read the line, then feel the weight, then putt kinda person. But with the bulleye you just spank the white dot... with days I have good touch on green its awesome. :o 8) Title: Re: Old putters Post by: fisherking on April 10, 2008, 06:54:59 PM I have two. One is a Wilson 8802 from the mid-60s. The other is a Wilson 8802 copy, a Designed by Cleveland putter. It's newer than the Wilson, but it's still pretty old, prolly about 20 years or so. These two putters fight for bag time.
The only other putter that sees the light of day is a Ping 1A I bought in 1974. Still a great putter. Title: Re: Old putters Post by: Spanky on April 10, 2008, 07:05:20 PM I forgot about my Ben Hogan I have, love that thing too. It was the first club I ever purchased.
