Don't have a cellar. Just a modest rack that we restock monthly (or so). Then again, the only reason we buy wine is to drink it.

well, living in an apartment, we don't have a cellar either.  just some ikea  'hutten' racks

it was the 'idea'... not the literalness...

We've got a 560 bottle Le Cave unit that is about 50% California Cabs, 25% Italian reds and the balance a mix of Merlot, Zins, Pinot and French Bordeaux.

I don't drink much white wine.

Currently in stock:

2005 Louis Jadot Beaujolais-Villages
(????) Barefoot Pinot Grigio
2004 Bogle Petite Sirah
2005 Fetzer Gewurztraminer
2004 Gabbiano Chianti (not the Classico, which I prefer)
2004 7 Deadly Zins
2005 Flying Dutchman Devil's Punchbowl "Pretty Good Pinot Gris"
2003 Secret House Pinot Noir

Oddly enough, Laura and I were already planning on going to the wine store to restock after the Masters coverage ends. Always looking for suggestions... (generally won't spend more than $15 for a bottle unless it's a special occasion)

Half a bottle of Barefoot White Zin in the fridge, and an empty of box of Chardonnay in the trash.

What is this, how do you say it? Wine? That you speak of?

Actually, we have plenty.  We just got home, I'll inventory it later.

Not interested in drinking any of it, and collecting just on the bottle shape, and name.  The collection is fairly eclectic.  ;)

A ping pong table, two carboys and a broken wheelbarrow.

Couple of bottles in the cupboard in the kitchen.  Nothing special.  Wife drinks Sutter Home white zin and I go for Chilean merlots.  A bottle or two of Santa Rita usually lying about the place.  A few dry Rieslings maybe.

An unopened bottle of some sort of pineapple wine my inlaws brought us from their trip to Maui several years ago. I don't understand why we haven't tossed it out yet. As a matter of fact I don't know why they even brought it to us. They know we don't drink wine.

I've had it. It's awful. [sm_disgust] I'd recommend introducing it to the trash bin without paying it a second thought.

I'm a fan of the Rosemount Shiraz, I haven't tried the cab/merlot, but I couldn't find either today. I picked up a Rosemount Estates Pinot Noir (also haven't tried). Also a J Lohr Chardonnay, Rex Goliath Shiraz (experiment, we think their pinot noir isn't terrible for the price), 2005 Achaval Ferrer Malbec (Argentinian red), and a Ondalan Rioja Crianza (Spanish Rioja).

No wine cellar here, but I have one 1.5 liter bottle of Frontera cabernet sauvignon in the cabinet.  It's a modestly priced Chilean wine produced by the Concha y Toro winery, but I find it full-bodied and quite enjoyable.

1994 Brunello di Montalcino, Casanove de Neri
1998 Barolo, Cogno
1999 Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Chateau La Nerthe
1997 LBV Port (unfiltered), Quady
2003 Zinfandel, Ravenswood
2004 Tempranillo, Funky Llama (it was a gift!)
2005 "Gravelstone" Chardonnay, Jekel

I'd say something about "small but special", but this isn't a Uisce thread.

02 Blackstone Cabernet Sauvignon
04 Sutter Home White Zinfandel
03 Rousemount Estates Shiraz
(?) Ernest and Julio Gallo White Zinfandel x 2
01 Greg Norman Cabernet Merlot
03 Toasted Head Chardonnay
03 Folonari Pinot Grigio
02 Wild Horse Chardonnay
03 Chateau St. Marie Gewurztraminer           LOL WTF?
02 Fat Bastard Chardonnay
02 Barossa Valley Shiraz
05 Kris Pinot Grigio
99 Dry Creek Vinyards Cabernet Sauvingon

It should be known, that this was a limited search.  Official wine inspectors were halted in their efforts.  The official report given was a Lemonade spill, by one of the junior residents, and that the kitchen floor was not available for enter, post decontamination.  The ambassador that blockaded the efforts was less pleasant, and sighted Easter Dinner preparations as a contributing factor in the diplomatic decline.

Reliable intelligence suggests, the kitchen holds up to 3 more  :airquotes: containers :airquotes:  If inspectors are not allowed to resume the search soon,  I will be left with no option but to go down stairs, drink beer, and watch ESPN.

1999 Oakhurst Chardonnay
1995 Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame

in the pantry next to the cans of Campbell's Chunky Soup.

We have an empty bottle of Rosemont Estates Shiraz (2005 I believe) and an empty bottle of Placido Pinot Grigio (2004).  We had friends over this weekend and need to restock.  But most stores around here are out of the 2004 Placido and the 2005 is not great.  So we are looking for a good dry Pinot Grigio for my wife since that's all she likes.

She likes gris too. ;D  She just doesn't really care for red wine that much.  She's a champagne, pinot or beer drinker.
