Title: Okay, Fuzzmental
Post by: E-A-G-L-E! on March 23, 2007, 07:20:24 PM
What brand? RAM (1-3w, 4iw, 5-9, pw, sw, p)  I don't see the exact set on their site even though they are this years model.  And I didn't take a pic yet. :o

How'd you like them?  I am really enjoying them.  I tried them out at the Oakdale golf dome in Jan, but testing them in the backyard was so much more thorough as I didn't always have a perfect or teed-up lie.
They feel so nice - very easy to have a smooth swing with.  I can already tell that they will help with my lack of distance.  (It takes a lot less of a swing to go the same length of the yard.)  I'm really liking the graphite shafts, too!
The 4iw head is just slightly smaller than that of the driver I was using.  Think that might help me a bit? :D
The putter has a face insert, but I haven't gotten used to it yet.  I might keep my old one in the bag as well.

How much longer are they than your old clubs? ;)  Jumped up from kids to womens, so several inches.

While outside, I also remembered a tip on how always hold the club at the proper angle and distance each time.  That really helped my consistency, too.

Nice review EAGLE!

BTW, my reference to 'how much longer' was tongue in cheek and related to distance. As you know everyone picks up 10-20 yards with new clubs.  ;D ;)

Thanks.  :)

I guess we shall see about distance. I hear Phalen is open.  Once the little ones go down for a nap (which should be pretty soon)... ;D

Isn't it more like 50 yards? ;)
