Nigeria knocks U.S. out of the Olympic tournament with a 2-1 victory. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/report?id=251017&&&cc=5901 They GAVE the draw to the Netherlands two days ago. Should have beaten them 3 or 4 to 1 instead they commit a stupid foul very, very late and let them escape with a 2-2 draw. And Adu and Bradley managed to get DQ'd for Nigeria. And Orozco got a red card today and we had to play with 10 men from the third minute on. hate! Kid here still don't play and learn like elsewhere. Thee just isn't the passion. Until kids look at Futbol like they do football then the US will continue to be just another team to eliminate on the way to the finals.

Just horrible. Not only uncalled for, but stupid even if it was.
And speaking of Bradley being out of the game on yellows - THAT was stupid as well. He took a penalty for no reason at all in the previous game. To waste a few seconds you take a yellow that puts you out of the next game??? STUPID. Pass it back to the defense, it'll waste even more time you idiot. They make me sad. |
