You were expecting dreadlocks, or some such I presume?

I've worn the flattop off and on (mostly on) for about 10 or 12 years now, because:

1) It's EASY. A 12 oz bottle of shampoo lasts me a year, and it takes .005 seconds to 'style' it after I get out of the shower.

2) It effectively camouflages the fact that I'm almost completely gray, because there's just enough red in the gray that it looks blond when it's really, really short, and it takes at least 5 years off.

The only problem is finding somebody who can actually cut one so it looks half azzed. Generally, old guys named 'Bill' or 'Jerry' are pretty safe, young guys wearing perfume not so much.

For some reason, I always picture Aske with long, feathered hair.  Kinda like Farrah Fawcett, except Aske's a lot less hot.

The pic of aske skeered me...so uhhhh...add that to my list.

I remember when I first went on Fgi, and aske posted this photo, which I really thought was him, as everything he said (he said alot then, not just posting links)looked like something this guy would say.

Weird. I got a haircut last Friday, too.  Either I am easily manipulated by things I read on msgboards or we've all been spending too much time here and our cycles are synchronizing.

I'm on the bandwagon as well - Saturday.  While I could attribute it to reading this thread or Dys' cycling theory, mine was more of a "Damn, I guess it's time for a haircut; I can feel the neck hairs blowing in the wind."

I go to Crazy Dave's Hair Studio.  Google "crazy dave kennesaw" and you will eventually find a link with a nutty looking guy on a unicycle sporting a camoflauge wifebeater.  That's the guy that cuts my hair.
