I hope he is okay.

Might Seamie know?

I'm betting he just got sick of us.  Wankers all.

12/4 is his last login on either forum. that was about the same time as the flooding in that area.

Where is mfwag, is he in Seattle.

What has been happening with the weather there.

Post by: Uisce Beatha on December 13, 2007, 02:52:43 PM
Although the entire northern half of the west coast was involved, my understanding is that the brunt of the storm was north-central Oregon to south-central Washington.  Seattle, especially considering it's essentially 100 miles inland, should have been alright.

Of course, I may be completely full of *feces* not to mention I have no idea where M. Le'FAWG actually lives.

Fawg and I have never exchanged phone numbers or email addy's so I don't know what happened to him. It's possible the weather had an effect, I thought he lives near a river which is notorious for flooding during massive storms like we had, Uisce is right about where most of the serious storm damage was and we are well north of that area. Having said that though I don't think that's why he is gone, although the timing of his last posts (here and there) and the time the storm hit is odd.

I think he's taking some time off, maybe somewhere in the Bahamas, smoking morley's and beguiling the Bahamian women with stories of Potus (whatever the heck that is), Politics, and the search for the perfect golf swing. In my mind anyway.

That wouldn't explain his absence here, now would it?

I sent a Figs PM to someone I know he knows there (another local friend), got a reply, said he would "ping" him. I think that is a good thing (isn't it?), but now no reply (36 hours later) from figs contact makes me fear the worse for Monsieur LeFawg, but as you all know I always over react.

He also doesn't seem to be hanging around other inter-tubes hang outs

I'm guessing he blew a hydraulic, probably over something Xainee did

I sent an e-mail to him on the 18th through FGI. ('Course, that doesn't guarantee it's his primary e-mail account.) No response so far....

Would anyone happen to know/recall what racing sites he frequents?

Yeah, I've checked them.  Besides a few here and FGI on December 4th, he hasn't posted or commented on anything since December 3rd. :(

Well Miss Nat,

I hope you let us know when Mr MFAWG make his entrance to the interwebs again.  I rather miss his leftist redheaded knee jerk communist sympithizint viewpoint, NTTAWWT! ;D

I do miss his contributions.

I've checked some of his other sights and they all seem to end about the same time, it's really puzzling.

I suppose I should have been better about getting his phone number or email address, I know he went through a rough spell here recently, it's kinda like if one of you all of a sudden disappeared, there'd be this hole, and I'd prolly feel guilty over some last stupid response I replied to you with.

I know a wise man, and he once sang to me...

...it's better to burn out, than fade away, because rust never sleeps.

This is the story of Johnny (MFAWG) Rotten.

Funny you should mention it.

I'm heading to his "home" course now, I've tried searching the white pages but his last name is very common (so is his first name for that matter), I thought I would take a picture of him but quickly realized the only pics of him I have are the ones I took for the GH Ryder Cup.

So I'll walk in and say "hey, have you seen this flat top and red neck recently?".

Brother Seamus is a private investigator...and a holy man. Seems like a hell of a balancing act but if anybody can do it, it's Brother Seamus. His investigations often lead him into the realms of environmentalism, energy generation, politics (and their intersection) as well as hardboiled detective fiction, film noir, jazz and a cocktail or two. After (after) hours, Brother Seamus studies the Dharma and seeks to incorporate it into his daily investigations.

Well, you finally figured me out, I'll have to leave this message board now.

But before I go.  ;)

I drove down  to the golf course near MFAWGS's home, walked in with my picture and said "seen this flat top and red neck?", dude behind the counter immediately says, "yeah I know him but haven't seen him in about 2-3 months" that happens to coincide with some inside info I have on brother MFAWG. So I'm talking to these gents and I says "I understand you have a female teaching pro here, and that MFAWG has had lessons with her", dude says "yeah, let me look something up", he found a phone number for MFAWG and he gives it to me, I call it...old job...no forwarding number. I left my name and number with the course just in case he wanders in.

I found a listing in the white pages for MFAWG L. McGillacuddy III, it looked promising, called it...disconnected. I have searched the obits and have found nothing, I have searched the King County Correctional Facility and have found nothing.

I tried.

Thanks, Seamus. :)

I must have missed the post(s) where he mentioned wanting to change/changing jobs.  Otherwise, I was thinking it would certainly be worth the phone calls to start calling the different tire shops.

I sincerely hope that (job change) is just the case, and that it's nothing more serious than that.

At times like this I like to think the worse has happened because if you do that, it turns out to be something really simple and innocent....like, he ran off for a long Vegas weekend with his neighbors 17 year old daughter, and things sort of progressed from there..

Seamus, did you check the morgues for any John Does?

(the mere act of putting that out tends to 'wake up the dead')

Not sure how to go about doing that (or if I want to go that far), and does the checker of such things have to be the one to identify a body? I've seen my fair share of that for one lifetime thank you very much.

Remember when Christ "died" and people were all bummed out and cried and beat their chests all day long and *feces*, and then a few days later, he wanders through the back gate of some dudes garden as if nothing happened?

This really reminds me of that one.

We should start a new religion.  We can call it MFAWGianity, where we ascribe supernatural powers to MFAWG, especially as such powers relate to the sorts of common automobile malfunctions, relative to wheels and axles and stuff like that.

Since I've been unemployed, I've skated every day when the weather was conducive , and I've been here:

Twice a week or so during the crappy weather.

So, picture it.  ;D

I made the mistake of turning my confuser off in December, and it would NOT fire back up. Then I just got distracted with that whole holidays thingy.

As stated, I've only seen it in Hollywood Babylon's 1 and 2...

Of course!  You are absolutely right!  What was I thinking trying to come up with original theology!!

Let's steal our stuff from the pagans....there's none of them left anymore but plenty of good ideas....LOL!!

...but I have to insist that MFAWGianity be monetheistic.  It is just too much effort building temples and prayers and whatnot to multiple deities.

Vote?  WTF do you think this is, the Southern Baptist Convention?

No, I'm afraid you'll just have to have your theology imposed upon you, like any other authentic religion

Found it, and might I say, there is no better possible god for MFAWGianity:

OGUN Also OGOU-FERAILLE, OGUM A god of iron and machines, work, war and death. A blacksmith, a soldier, a politician. The patron of truck drivers. The civilizer, the one who clears the way through the wilderness with his ever-present machete. His colors are green, red and black.

WARNING: Large and imposing sacred deity; avert eyes and by all means be supplicant

Your dude looks like some 'roided up pro rassler, with a sword.

PM me,  you will have to give a minimum of 0% of your entire worth.  Assets real and tangible, and those you only imagine.

I made the mistake of turning my confuser off in December, and it would NOT fire back up. Then I just got distracted with that whole holidays thingy.

Why would you want to turn off your computer? ???

I was cleaning, which was really the first sign that I REALLY need to go back to work... ::)

No voting, and we'll stick with monotheism. And the divinity of the 8 iron and frontside 50-50 grind... ;D

For some reason, I can't picture him as a skaterat.

Since I've been unemployed, I've skated every day when the weather was conducive , and I've been here:

Twice a week or so during the crappy weather.

So, picture it.  ;D

Where's the pic of Carmen Miranda?  [sm_devil]

As stated, I've only seen it in Hollywood Babylon's 1 and 2...
