Title: Rock Band
Post by: campy on December 26, 2007, 06:12:44 PM
Kicks ass.  Played it for about 10 hours last night at work, and though I have not a musical bone in my body, I was working the guitar on easy, medium not so much...drums, forget about it.  Anyways, gonna try and play it again tonight if the numbness in my finger tips ever goes away.

lol.  awesome.

guitar is pretty easy up to expert mode.... you should get there in a few days really.  drums are still a PITA with the built in kick pedal being so firm.  i'm going to home depot in a couple of days to try and find a softer spring so i can get some more speed out of it for the harder tracks on hard/expert

get in the game, stroh

I was thinking that same thing last night.  Everyone wants to play guitar, and even though there are a couple of guys who were real good on the drums, they kept bitching about me never taking my turn on them.  Being that I am the one who could tell them to turn it off and get their asses back to work, I only played drums twice all night.

ps, in case you have 'get togethers' to play,  there are cheat codes you can unlock all tracks in case you haven't done so legitimately yet.  (good for not having to repeat tracks over and over)

Even when it's out on my system, I don't have any friends to play with me.   :sad3:

How do you go about using the cheats and not messing up your accomplishments?  Someone at work told me not to use them as they will screw your profile up.  I haven't messed with the 360 enough to know what the hell is talking about, or I'm just plain dumb, take your pick.

whenever i take it out for a get-together and run the cheat, all is does is disable the career type mode.  anything you do in that session can't be saved as an accomplishment.  it never deletes anything previously accomplished for me.

LOL Doesn't sound like much work was getting done. Then again, it was Christmas. What the hell are you guys doing at work on Christmas day anyway?

I just looked in the mirror, things aren't looking so good
i'm looking California,and feeling Minnesota

or...

I'm feeling that i'm sober,even though i'm drinking
i can't get any lower, still i feel i'm sinking

I just realized how depressing those lyrics are...still...they... [sm_headbang]

We operate 365/24, and that would be a typical night on the graveyard shift, except we usually watch movies or interact on the interwebs all night.

And to think I operated a power plant for 4 years in the Navy, thought it would be too much hassle in the real world so I took a different path. Now I work my ass off. Go figure. ::)
