sweet deals (although I'd go sammy dlp and bigger screen ;) )  ... only thing you forgot is to buy 2 more GB of RAM so you can actually watch blowrays on that thing.  Vista ultimate's footprint +  av/security + other permanent running/startup apps  =  2GB down the crapper already LOL. 

I still need to get an esata drive (1 or 2tb) to dvr onto then find a way to rip them to dvd or bd media.  Actually, for the price of a 1TB Esata drive,  it's probably cheaper right now just to keep buying new ones than blank BDs

I ordered two 2GB sticks from Newegg immediately after after ordering the notebook. :D

I think frys.com had an external 1 TB drive for 80 bones. HDs are getting ridiculously cheap.

pretty awesome price for a single box, esata , and raid capable .  already ntfs formatted too.

Never heard of the brand, but most likely the drives themselves are made by a well-known OEM.
