I just hate to get rid of perfectly functioning equipment, be it cars or whatever. I was going to buy a new truck a couple of years ago, but I just couldn't see the point of going hugely in debt to purchase something that wasn't really an upgrade over what I'm driving. A 4wd stripper goes for 20g's, and I already own the one I have. I don't even want to tell you how old my Magnavox TV is, and it still looks great. All that said, the new monitor is MUCH better.
