[sm_anon]  Mine was tan.  For the record.  I was cool.

I had a couple. One black, one red. Only when they were in style, though.

I had a jacket that looked like that when I was a little kid.  I'm pretty sure it was a clone/cheap imitation of a Members Only, though.
Freakin' parents! [sm_cussing]

Nope,
for us it was Barracuda jackets. ;D

Sadly, it was also the era of the black satin Tour jackets if you were in a band. :-X

But for the record I NEVER wore or owned a pair of parachute pants. I retain at least that much of my dignity... :sad3:

For the record: never.

I did have a pair of camo rip-stop parachute pants that I wore fly-fishing on days too warm for waders.

That has got to be before my time.  Besides a black jacket that has "members only" tags on it, what is it?

Old enough to remember 'em, young enough to think they were lame.  [sm_devil]

[Did own a pair of Galactic Wash Levis though.  :sad3:]

Yes. What can I say? It was the 80's and I lived in New Jersey. At least I never owned any Z.Cavaricci's or Zubaz pants.

Quote
(02-16) 12:50 PST SAN FRANCISCO -- A convicted bank robber went on a crime spree just a week after being released from federal custody and was caught in part because he never changed out of the 1980s-style clothes - including a Members Only jacket -- he was wearing when he was released from prison, San Francisco police said today.

Like spaceage I remember them but was too young to wear one.

Instead I rocked jam's, chuck taylors and french-cuffed jeans.

Nope, never had one, they were mostly worn by the Pinoy's and lame white guys who couldn't break dance.

I did wear some scary *feces* though; Levis and Bugle Boys with penny loafers (with a penny) in the winter, and butt hugging OP shorts, Izods, Vuarnet's and boat shoes in the summer.

Fringed jackets are still cool so long as they aren't overdone.

And actually, I prefer older style dresses to the modern ones.  Some of the Victorian era dresses were gorgeous. :)

Not that there's anything wrong with that CF  ;).

Dude probably has the best vocal range in the history of rock n roll.

NTTIAWWT, agreed.  I do, however, remember a whole lot of not-so-secure-in-their-manhood, holier-than-thou, my-music-is-better-than-your-music, metalhead friends who were crushed when they found out.  Good times, good times.

Oh, I would have to put Chris Cornell ahead of Halford in terms of vocal range (and if you haven't heard, Audioslave has officially split - maybe we'll get Soundgarden circa Badmotorfinger back.)  Also, Maynard James Keenan for his unique ability to pitch-perfect scream.  But yes, Halford is damn good.

Too tired to debate CF.

Let's see if the gents you mentioned can and or will still be doing it when they're 55.

Besides this is Chin's members only thread.  :D ;D >:(
