Title: Shot a PB today Post by: spacey on August 26, 2007, 07:57:55 PM 44/45 (for U.B.'s edification- Old Mill GC). Not that impressive, but for me kind of a big deal. Never broken 90 before. That means, assuming U.B. and Campy and I are still teeing it off next Sunday (U.B. PM me) I'll suck some serious *bunghole*. I'll look for a 107 or so. Superbad.

I knew what I shot for the front, and I kind of had an idea on the back, but I wasn't keeping a running tally, so it wasn't thinking anything like "I need a par on this hole to break 90." I've been hitting my tee shots :airquotes: reasonably :airquotes: well all season, not terribly long but generally in the fairway or close to it. My putting has gotten progressively better, though I still have some blow ups and continue to struggle with leaving makable putts short. I think the thing that really helped me this last game was within 100 yards. Short game, but off the green sort of stuff.The real trick will be to see if I can get any of it to carry over to the next round.
