Title: So far so good
Post by: Uisce Beatha on November 06, 2007, 06:28:43 PM
Aske in town for a few hours by now I should think.

No reports of riots.  Republican party remains firmly in control.  Norwegians are behaving themselves.  Moroni's horn remains silent.

We might just make it through this thing.

I thought I felt a disturbance in the Force. I figured it was just Referendum 1 going down in flames.

I think that the cabs charge a minimum to/from the airport. I think it might be $20. Pretty sure jebus has already been counseled on the issue, it is Utah.

Just don't get directions from me. I'll get you there eventually but you might have to change direction a couple of times.

No, the mapquest directions were fine. Before that, I got my east and my west mixed up, had Aske headed the wrong way at first.

Yeah, the city itself is pretty small, and very easily navigated (assuming you know east vs west). Where is your talk?

M - Salon G (Marriott Salt Lake City-Downtown)
Computational Molecular Science and Engineering Forum (21)
#632 - Industrial Applications of Computational Chemistry and Molecular Simulation II (21005)
Papers are solicited that illustrate new applications of computational chemistry and molecular simulation to industrial problems. Papers exploring novel applications of well established software as well as more exploratory algorithmic development are welcomed. Simulations of chemical reactions, equilibria, and transport would be appropriate for this session, as would the molecular aspects of materials modeling. Thus, this session is expected to encompass a diverse range of application areas.

There's seriously nothing better than a girls in high school story.

so i just got done from a quick walk around the area.  found squatters easy enough.

this area basically reminds me of a realllly tame and more wide open   version of near 6th street in Austin.  (not that it's a bad thing).

only had one beggar approach me.  *feces*, i'd have had 50 in the same time in pittsburgh.

Perfect day for a motorcycle ride. Good thing I don't have it yet, I s'pose. Though I'll have it here just in time for the *feces*ty weather to set in on Sunday.  :sad3:
