Just stating his opinion which seems fairly on target as Aske hasn't hidden the fact that he checks in as Sal from time to time.

I'm likely way out of line here but I'll blame the drink.  ;)  I believe Clive is turned off by the 'stalking' we see around here from time to time and, at times, in heavy doses.  I refer to FGI stalking in general and Prokrop/Phileo in particular.  I concur and wish we could just leave well enough alone.

Perhaps I'll also blame the drink, but I've thought the exact same thing, and U.B. knows Clive much better than I. If I had my druthers, we'd leave over there over there, particularly when it causes [perhaps] good members to jump ship. Wanna take on figs? Do it at figs. JMHO. But then again, I've been drinking.

I really didn't think that Clive got upset over people having a drink, I knew he really didn't drink much from some of his posts but he used to carry on and have a good time here.  At least thats what I thought.
