Title: comfortably numb
Post by: birdymaker on January 03, 2008, 05:37:26 AM
well, maybe not so much. ever since  :airquotes: the accident :airquotes: half of my right hand has been numb. it has gotten a little better over the last 14 weeks. it is now down to everything in line with the pinkie is numb. but lately has been making a transition to pain and soreness in the last 2 fingers and the side of my hand.
we have tried mega doses of anti inflammatory meds and steroid injections to no avail. so next thursday is the day  :ninja: i'm goin under the knife again.  :o
due to insurance concerns and company absence policies, i have to have this taken care of before i return to work. so i'm looking at another 3 weeks on the shelf and i'll be ready to rock.  [sm_headbang]

Good luck!  Is it the fractured wrist?

The symptoms would suggest a herniated cervical disk, with nerve impingement.  Most likely (with those 2 fingers) at the c6-7, or c7-t1 level.

Have you had that checked?

Normally a quick read, but the pages do tend to stick together after a time.

Heal quick, AM!

[sm_shock]

i'm really itchin to hit some balls. [sm_eekdance]
