Title: Good news for St. Louis
Post by: gleek on November 19, 2007, 09:02:43 AM
Detroit is now the nation's most dangerous city.

I do believe this report only covers the actual city itself and not the entire metropolitan area.  The actual City of St. Louis is probably less than 10% of the entire metropolitan area.

I did read in the paper that homeland security was going to increase the advisory level to orange in lieu of your presence.  Something about an ongoing FBI probe.  I'd travel under an alias if I were you.

Yep.  I think we had this discussion when the report came out last year with St. Louis on top.  The 'City of' is extremely small compared to the metro area - makes the crime per capita look worse than it is.

Not really.  Last year St. Louis was on top - this year its back to Detroit.

Now, Detroit being on top - that is old news  ;)

Oh, that's right. St. Louis was unseated from the top spot this year. Hence, the "good news". LOL

Thanks

Will do
FYI, I've managed to have that FGI probe surgically removed.  Unfortunately, they appear to have replaced it with one from the NSA.
