Title: Chili. Post by: stroh on January 18, 2009, 06:54:58 AM Scratch? Mix? Brand?
Favorites? We go about half and half depending on the time, season, etc. Mix vs. scratch. Usually use turkey. I'm kind of a traditionalist. Simple red. A little heat. Too much and no one else will eat it. I like (grew up) eating it over rice. Karen likes it with cheese and sour cream. I'm good either way. No crackers. Title: Re: Chili. Susan makes a really good chili every Christmas and a few other days each winter. I will put some cheese on mine. No crackers in the chili but I may have some on the side. Title: Re: Chili. Post by: Aske on January 18, 2009, 08:03:00 AM homemade. from scratch. always

Never had it over rice, but sounds good. Had it over spaghetti once at a chili restaurant in Maryland and it was great. Cool place, lots of different kinds of chilis. :) Hard Times Cafe http://www.hardtimes.com/menu/menu1.asp |
