Did anyone else see Jeff Gordon cleaning his windshield during the red flag period?
Marty, While watching DirecTV Hot Pass, I saw Jeff Gordon clean his windshield while under the red flag. Is that legal? Also, one of the track attendants who was handing out bottles of water to the drivers saw what was going on and helped clean the windshield as well. Again, please clarify this rule. Amid all the accusations of cheating, favoritism and such during the past week, it may have been legal but it sure didn t appear that way. Even heard Steve Letarte mention over the team radio that he hoped it was legal.Thanks. -- Keith, N.

I was @ the bar watching the race... A company called PROSAT was showing the HOTPASS thing up there for free. So, Yes I did see Gordon cleaning his windshield and I thought it was total BULLCRAP! I even through my beer @ the TV, which got the police called me, which got me thrown in jail for a few days.. Due to the fact that I had WARRANTS!! So in turn, YES GORDON SUCKS! HE SHOULDA BEEN PENALIZED! AND THAT IDIOT GOT ME THROWN IN JAIL! It was all his fault! If he wouldnt have cheated and got away with it AGAIN!! then I wouldnt have thrown my beer @ the 2000$ TV and broke it! GORDON YOU OWE ME!

LOL, God Bless America!!!!!!!

I'm guessing JailBoy does too, assuming they weren't felony warrants.

NASCAR dads ROCK, dude!!!!!

I thought the pit road catfight last year was a nice touch.  I'm hoping the drivers' wives and girlfriends will further develop that aspect of the series this year.

Saw the water boys but missed Gordon -- do remember the Sterling incident!

It is, of course, perfectly legal to touch the car under green or yellow, or at least it was in 1976.... [sm_devil]
