Title: [Politics/Religion] How'd ya vote - NO names
Post by: Fuzzy on November 04, 2008, 07:30:39 AM
Try to play nice.

I split my ticket and it appeared fairly balanced. The Mayor and councilman races don't have party affiliations on the ballot but I have a good idea on how they stand on the issues.

And honestly, those two races and the Senate race are the ones that I'll be really interested in today.

Split but balanced.

I'll decide this afternoon, but the more I think about, it will most likely be a straight Dem. ticket.

The only one I'll chew on is Norm.  I think he has done a lot for this state and is a good politician, but I'm ready for change.

Can I write myself in for POTUS?

With the exception of POTUS, and Governor, I voted straight non-incumbent. Which pretty much means with the exception of Governor, I voted straight democrat.

If not for your second sentence clarification I might have thought you had voted Bush for a third term. [sm_shock]

We had a couple of whackjob dem's on some state commissions etc, where the repub's sounded like better options.  I also have a repub on a local commission who I like, though she has repeatedly spurned a number of advances I've made.

But I'm dem on most anything else.  Many of you would probably be surprised to hear I'm an unapologetic lib.

I voted a straight democratic ticket.  And I'll be drinking heavily tonight.

Well since we aren't naming names.

I voted straight Dem unless there was none then I voted Indie. So yes I was in the mens restroom and yes I am a registered Repub.

I won't name names, but I made a game time decision that should make the Senatorial race here interesting.

Straight dem. Because of my important moderator position I'm remarkably well connected and either know or have met the rest of the Dems on our ballot. They all have my vote.

There are Republicans who I would vote for, but they were not on my ballot.

I put a couple of R's on mine. My state housemember is a particularly odious piece of crap, and we suspect corrupt. NOBODY ever votes for her, but she wins every time.

Does the method of voting there allow for a "Donkey Vote"?
