Leftovers baby...leftovers!  It kind of works out well.  My wife leaves Monday am for Tennessee for 4 days.  Between 2 different bball practices and piano lessons the leftovers will help out a lot for dinner next week :-)

I also bought some carry out trays for people to take food w/ them.

No clue on rum (don't drink alkihol)...someone is dropping off tomorrow.  Hopefully it's enough.

well, if not there's some beers
that equates to basically (assuming a 2:1 drink ratio of soda to alcohol)

approximately  60 8 oz  rum and cokes... which is about 15 per hour (over the course of a 4 hour game)  which is about 1-1.5 per person if everyone drinks one

really not that much
 8)

if* you have 30+ and* they drink that much,  you need at least 7 L
 8)

well again,  i'm basing that calculation on everyone drinking (and drinking hard!)  lol

it's just a formula for OUR* friends.

as for wine,  you can't really go wrong (or better!)  price/value  than rosemount estates

the 2004-2005s  in shiraz, merlot, and chardonnay are great for $12

the 2002 show reserve shiraz  is easily THE best $20 wine out there

The way you talk about food and wine, I can see that you really love and enjoy it.
Maybe one day, we will see you and Sal, running a little bistro of your own!!!!!

We're going over a friend's house. Not sure what will be there, but I'll be smoking  6 racks of babyback ribs starting sometime in the late morning and into the afternoon. By the time everyone brings something I'm sure we'll have more food than can be eaten.

It's the drive back that would suck. ;D

BTW we do charge a $15 cover, and we lose our arse every year on it, but it is the Superbowl after all.
