I was actually pleased with the guy when he told the Derpocracy that he would veto the proposal to fund the Pentagon through the end of the year but shut everything else down.

Anybody who thinks 'Facts' have much place in the debate over Planned Parenthood in particular and abortion in general on the GOP side hasn't been paying much attention.


I read somewhere that the number of abortions paid for by the Federal Gubment for the last year that statistics were available was 150 or so.

It actually makes me kind of sad to watch all this. I can remember a time when conservatives were viewed as the steely eyed realists, and Libruls were pie in the sky types.

No, they don't hate rubbers. They just think giving away free rubbers to 5th graders in a public school isn't a very good idea on multiple levels.

I went to public schools, and I can't recall Planned Parenthood ever setting foot in any of my schools. OTOH, if a 5th graders steps into a Planned Parenthood facility asking for condoms, I don't see a problem with it.

Sure, if a 5th grader is ****ually active, there's a serious problem, but that's a parenting issue. You know? Personal responsibility and all. At least slapping a rubber of these little *fudge*ers will prevent them from spreading disease. So, tell me why there's a problem with federal funding of an organization that helps to prevent the spread of disease.
