Kinda figured you weren't rushing out to stand in line at the Apple Store.   ;)

$500 + 2 year contract = hope you like cingular to begin with (actually i do)

IF*  i were gonna get one,  i would at least wait till they upgrade it in line with when the 16 or 32 GB   ipod nanos come out.    4GB really isnt that much space

I'm on Cingular.  Have been with AT&T/Cingular since I got my first phone.  They seem to have the best service here (signal-wise).

I'll wait.  I never buy v1.0 of anything.  But I'll be getting one.  Mainly 'cuz it runs OSX which will come in EXTREMELY handy for off-site troubleshooting or even just reg. maintenance stuff.

4GB is fine for music only but not +video, email and who knows how much the OS needs.  I agree that the intro of 16GB will be when I open my wallet.

I'm just shocked you're even semi-friendly!@!@!   :o

In its pants.

And it's soft!!!   [sm_shock]

Intelligent Keyboard

iPhone’s full QWERTY soft keyboard lets you easily send and receive SMS messages in multiple sessions. And the keyboard is predictive, so it prevents and corrects mistakes, making it easier and more efficient to use than the small plastic keyboards on many smartphones.

shouldn't that be a general standard for technology purchases?
