Title: Oooops Post by: stroh on August 08, 2008, 11:51:46 AM Woman picks wrong house (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080807/ap_on_fe_st/odd_knock_knock;_ylt=Av0.nRGv474Ab3gGVP9um2jtiBIF) to stop and ask directions.
Oh those wacky Sturgis bikers. Title: Re: Oooops Post by: spacey on August 08, 2008, 12:05:29 PM Not that it necessarily relates to the story, but I was thinking about Sturgis today, as most of my coworkers have made some comment about how I should be there, you know because I ride a Harley.
Not that I'm a hardcore biker by any stretch but the whole thing just seems like one big poser fest. Sturgis is pretty much a costume party for CPAs and Dentists who want to play biker for a week. I imagine one can make a killing on motorcycle trailer parking 10 miles outside the city limits. I can buy a Sturgis t-shirt on Ebay for $20, have all the supposed street cred of the guy who was actually there, and have the added benefit of not having to put up with Sturgis. *fudge* Sturgis. Merwin said that resulted in a wrestling match. Caged Heat FTW. My brother rides and he was stationed for 5 years at Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City and witnessed Sturgis a couple of times. Mainly due to the proximity. He would say that you've nailed it on the the poser comment. In fact a lot of people trailer their bikes out there and just ride around for a few days. Well put. Although I'm having trouble reconciling it with your admitted love of boobies. I guess there's always Mardi Gras.
