Title: [Poll - itics] Recount? Post by: stroh on November 05, 2008, 11:23:53 AM Help me with this. Coleman v. Franken race too close. Mandatory recount.
I guess in something this big, I can see the need, but my question is A. How do you *fudge* it up the first time, and B. If you sukk at tallying it up, how do you trust the second count? There were over 2.4 million votes with a separation of 725. I get how close that is but.... Seriously. Think about it. If the count is wrong, and Franken gets the votes to his side, you *fudge*ed up by 1500 votes. Were they drunk? Who's counting this bull*feces*? Title: Re: [Poll - itics] Recount? Post by: stroh on November 05, 2008, 11:29:32 AM *feces*. I forgot part 2.
Quote As for the recount itself, Secretary of State Mark Ritchie said he expects "several weeks" to pass before it is complete. Wait a minute. Didn't you count the *feces* yesterday in like 12 hours? Quote .........as Minnesota officials today prepared for the painstaking process of recounting ballots. Painstaking? Feed the *fudge*ers in the scanner right the first time. Title: Re: [Poll - itics] Recount? Post by: Fuzzy on November 05, 2008, 12:33:59 PM And guess what? Today we hear about voting irregularities. :)
Nothing last night from Mr. Franken when he had a slim lead late but all of a sudden today it's a different story. Whatever. BTW the recount is mandatory per state law when the difference is < 0.5% (I think that's the number). And the recount has to be manual, hence the length of time required for completion. At least that's what I understand. |
