I think if you asked any of them other there if they think they were senseless you would probably get a different response. To say that the death of soldiers in the line of duty is senseless is incorrect. Tragic, yes.But again I understand where your statement was coming from so don't take it as a flame. Whether I think the war was justified or not does not change how I feel about soldiers' deaths. I volunteered and would have given my life for this country (and almost did) in a war that some thought was unjustified. Even if not at war I still would have given my life for this country. Like I said I know where your statement comes from but I will never say that the death of a soldier in the line of duty was senseless. And for the record the I feel the war should have been over years ago.
