My opinion is that he probably did talk with Bevell as they are old friends. My other opinion is that if Thompson and McCarthy give him his unconditional release they will be unconditional morons. It will never happen though. Speculation is they will not grant his release, nor consider trade offers. They will offer him a roster spot in camp as a back up to Rodgers. I do think they will consider trade offers, though it would be a pretty limited number of teams both sides would have and I don't the lists would be the same. |
