Title: [Politics/Religion] MFAWG's new favorite politician.....
Post by: Fuzzy on October 31, 2008, 10:14:20 AM
....has visibly raised his profile by using the new found money from Joe McCarthy's Michele Bachman's recent television interview to run a tremendous amount of radio and TV ads here in MN.

And I chuckle every time I hear one of El* Tinklenberg's radio spots because as god is my witness the voice of the narrator sounds exactly like the librarian cop from Seinfeld.

*The artist formerly known as "Elwyn" has been using "El" in all his spots so I will defer to him.

Bachman's Volley:

"..........I may not always get my words right........"

Then you don't belong in Washington representing the constituency.

I could look it up but I need to eat lunch right now.

LOL, I just read her Republican primary opponent has put himself out there as a write in, presumably for that special type of Republican that can't bear to vote anything but.

Can't hurt, Tinklenberg shows up by 2 or 3 points, which is dead even. That's after being down 9 in mid September....

800,000 was the final take. Nice job, beyotch!

I also heard she tried to blame Matthews 'Gotcha Journalism', which consisted of him sitting there in stunned disbelief while she went on for several minutes, IIRC.... ;)

Post-interview she said she was "trapped" and that Matthews brought up the anti-American point first.

I've always been one to respect politicians and their views even though I may disagree with them. But Bachman has always seemed to me to be a walking, talking, speaking points memo issued by the way right fringe of the GOP.

If you follow MN politics, she is like the exact opposite of the late Sen. Paul Wellstone. He was waaaay left but I respected him as smart, committed and passionate. I disagreed with him more than I agreed, but I did have a lot of respect for him.

Bachman may just be certifiably bat*feces* crazy.
