these things rule. sure, i dont want to know what toxic chemical crap is in them.... but 90 seconds, no added water, 2 perfect serving sizes (no potentially wasted leftovers), no messy pots to clean, and a shiat-ton of flavor combinations. sadly they cost $3.29 at our local grocery monopoly whereas they're like $1.69 at mutantmart. Kids like original long grain with a bit of butter so I make that a lot. I haven't tried the wild long grain yet so I'm going to have to pick that up. Stumbled across it one day lookin' for something I could heat up and eat at work. Truly is teh shizzle! But I can't do 'mater sauce on rice. That dog just won't hunt. The wife has the same problem with eggs, sort of. She thinks putting salsa on an omelette is gross, but then again she has no problem putting ketchup on scrambled eggs, so I guess it's not the same thing. Shutting up and going away...
