So he started riding something called an 'American Eagle', which everybody assumed was a US/HD product, but was actually an Italian Laverda.
Why he was doing motorcycle jumps on flattrack bikes is one of the greatest mysteries of mankind. I guess 'caues of the #1 r/w/b on the front. [t/j] Flattrack is teh shizzle! That's what my dad used to race. If I was to race now, I would run 750 flattrack, although speedway bikes are maybe even cooler. 8) Nothing like running 85% of the track wide ass open and sideways, with no brakes.
