You continue the conversation and get more angry. Then you decide to take it to the source and find out your anger is unwarrented. Now you're angry because you had no reason to be angry to begin with.

I was baffled. Turns out the person they heard it from was talking about a different *hobbit*. So I got a HUGE apology, but now I was pissed for that person ever believing I would have done that to begin with. Such is life. Title: Re: This ever happen to anyone else?
