Title: Boycott D1cks $port$ - another chapter in 'the customer is never right' Post by: Aske on February 10, 2008, 05:00:23 PM scenario:
received a small value gift card for birthday a while back, just getting around to trying to use it. went into store, didn't see anything in golf or tennis sections that i really wanted/needed went into back of store, looking at some generic NB cross-trainers- saw a pair i liked at a price I liked. waited. waited. walked around whole section. waited. gave up. went to cashier and demanded to speak to manager. explained - in a calm, yet very annoyed way what happened. manager told me (not in exact words, but implied it) that I was a liar and someone was working in that section- I told her she was full of *feces* and she should go see how many customers are just standing around unserved. then asked if i could simply have the gift card refunded- told no. she then told me to hang on, she would call that section and get me some service, I told her no. she asked why [sm_oops]. I told her it shouldn't take 30+ minutes to get a pair of shoes and I would rather throw away my gift card and shop elsewhere- I would never shop there again. she didn't seem to care or to "get it" meh. I don't think I like your economic stimulus policy. You probably like pennies too.
