I don't shop on Black Friday but I'll be watching the ads for price drops on all the gear I recently bought.

Thinking foosball table might be in the cards this year but I'm not sure that's a Black Friday item.  Especially since I'd be inclined to go pool hall quality rather than the "toys" you see in big box stores.

I concur with Aske that bigger is better.  I went with 56" as it fit the space better.  If I'd gone with 61" as he suggested it would have fit the viewing distance better.  It would have come close to overlapping windows/treatments though.

I'm very, very happy with the size of my unit, errrrrm, display, but I'm glad it's not smaller.

Nothing and I'm not going near any store on that day as well.  I'm getting my wife a new wedding ring she can cut hair while wearing so I'm set.  The boy has no idea what the hell christmas is so he gets what we give him.

I'm been avoiding all the Black Friday ads because I don't want to see anything I might like.  I'll stand in line for a Wii, PSP, iPhone, and Star Wars movies, but Black Friday lines scare me.  A GPS unit is tempting, though. :-\

Maybe an mp3 for the youngest, memory stick for sure. I'll be looking at the online options, no line waiting for me.

I'd like to get a GPS unit, too, since I can get lost in my own house. 

Anybody have any ideas about which one will do the job without hurting me too badly financially?  I don't need it to play music, make phone calls, or dice potatoes.  I just need it to tell me where to turn, and ideally using street NAMES and saying the directions aloud so I don't get too distracted looking at the darn thing.

Hair products are so easy to come by now with my wife being in hair school.  She gets everything for cost at the state beauty supply stores.  If everyone knew how much hair products I used I get smited.   8)

You won't catch me anywhere near a store on Friday.  The crowds aren't worth it.  I usually get all my holiday shopping done on-line.

Man would I love to have that in my basement but I'd have to budget at least 2x that price due to the divorce that would be imminent.  ;)

Update....Best Buy has the Harmony 880 remote on sale Friday for 149.00.  I'm getting one if there still there around 9:00.

Amazon has it for $156.86 currently.  I got it for $147.86 about a month ago.  Free shipping if you can wait a week and no sales tax.

Sears is definitely on my list, as I will be working there from 7AM-4PM. :sad3: All aside, I've worked Black Friday for the past three years, and I've shopped several years before. No, I think you have to go to the 890 for RF.  Quite a bit pricier. 

I heard on the radio last night that Wal-Mart will have all "sports titles" @ $19.99.  Including all '08.
