Title: wow, time for the panther's firesale. Post by: Aske on October 08, 2007, 11:47:04 AM http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3054365
who might shop around for smith ? Title: Re: wow, time for the panther's firesale. Post by: hobbit on October 08, 2007, 11:54:29 AM Dallas is the first team that popped into my head. Jones would be an owner not afraid to make a move for him.
They're off to a great start, but Glenn is hurt. Add Smith to the mix and you really have something. Green Bay, Philly, P'burgh are other teams that could use him, but I just don't see those franchises making a move for him. Not that he's moving - its all hypothetical pondering. Title: Re: wow, time for the panther's firesale. Post by: Fuzzy on October 08, 2007, 12:07:15 PM I'd love to see Minny do something. We desperately need a #1 receiver. Probably wouldn't help anyway what with our top level QB's........ :sad3:

Ziggy's got deep pockets. I think we're still 25 mil. under the cap. Title: Re: wow, time for the panther's firesale. Post by: hobbit on October 08, 2007, 12:19:20 PM What about the obvious? Ziggy's got deep pockets. I think we're still 25 mil. under the cap. Don't you need a QB to throw him the ball? ;) But seriously, I guess it wouldn't be a bad move, but the Vikes don't seem to be ready this year. Perhaps Smith would go there anyway, but I bet he'd prefer to go somewhere thats contending now. Title: Re: wow, time for the panther's firesale. I mean Chris Carter retired in Miami, for *fudge*'s sake. |
