I think it has a good chance of bringing people back.  At least it shows that the problems are now being recognized and that attempts are being made to rectify them.

The next few weeks will be interesting, especially if a situation comes up where there's no clearcut resolution and half the moderators feel one way and half another.  That's a good group, though.

Justin askend 7 of us to be "known" moderators.  Why me?  Who the hell knows.  I always kind of fancied myself as your partner, bringing the place down from the inside. ;) ;D

I talked to space about it before I responded.  I think he hit it right on.  I am pretty neutral on everything, and haven't had any "bad exchanges"with anyone, basically, I rarely ever have a strong opinion on anything.  My main function is to Crack Wise, as they say. ;D

That, and brand recognition.  Everybody loves stroh! ::)

I have no problem with the moderators justin picked.  The fact that some idiots are sitting there arguing and whining about it makes me realize how much FGI sucks. 

And congrats Stroh!  You can help bring down FGI from the inside.  lol

You nailed it, though, about the moderators flaming each other.   Among that group, from their past posts, many of them seem to have different views of what FGI should be like.  It'll be interesting to see how that gets resolved among the moderators.

Personally, I have no issues with anyone on that list, though I have seen a number of them sqaure off with other posters in threads in the past.  Will make for interesting spectator sport.

That's cool that they're divvying up responsibilities by sections.  I think some people's strengths would be better in equipment and others in the clubhouse.  It makes sense for people to moderate the section where they hang out.  Whoever signed up for P&R has my sympathies.

I think it was wise to have a mix of different types among moderators.  I'm not sure that a group comprised of a bunch of Doodiuses (pl.=Doodii in Latin?) would represent the population of FGI as well as a mix of different types, including some with very strong views and some not.

FWIW, imo, I kind of think of Doodius as the Anthony Kennedy of FGI Moderators.
